Soccer drill
Receive into Shot
This helps with quick finishing in tight spaces — like when a winger cuts the ball back to you at the top of the box. You receive a driven ground pass and redirect it first-time toward goal without an extra touch, keeping your body over the ball and driving it low with your instep.
How to do it
As the ground pass arrives, angle your body toward goal, plant your non-kicking foot beside the ball, and lock your ankle with toes down. Strike the centre of the ball with your laces, keeping your knee over it to prevent skying, and follow through low toward the target. Complete the prescribed finishes per set.

1v1 to Finish
Beating a defender and finishing under pressure rehearses the most decisive moment in attacking play — taking on your man and burying the chance.
Cone Finish
This drill pairs tight footwork through traffic with a finish, rehearsing the dribble-and-shoot moments where you beat defenders into space and strike on goal.
Cruyff Right/Left Foot
Named after Johan Cruyff, this drag-behind-the-standing-leg move trains the disguised turn that creates instant separation from a defender.
Left/Right Foot Scissors
The scissor is a core feint — rolling your foot over and around the ball sells a change of direction that beats defenders one-on-one.
Scissor Both Feet
Chaining scissors with both feet trains the rapid double feint that freezes defenders and lets you break either direction at speed.
Step Over Right/Left Foot
Circling your foot over and around the ball trains the explosive step-over feint used to wrong-foot defenders before you accelerate past them.
