Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GrindSZN ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility & Guardian Accounts

Every athlete account is created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Athletes do not sign themselves up, at any age. The guardian agrees to these Terms on behalf of the athlete and is responsible for the athlete's use of the app.

Your Account

• Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Plans & Payment

GrindSZN has two plans. Free costs nothing, needs no card, and does not expire. Family costs $12 per month or $99 per year and covers up to 4 athletes and 4 parents, your full training history, per-drill trends, the weekly recap email, and messaging with a coach.

Any parent on the account can buy Family. Whoever buys it becomes the payer, and only the payer can change the plan or the payment method. A Family subscription renews automatically at the end of each term until it is cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to us; we store only an identifier that lets us ask Stripe about your subscription. Where tax applies, it is calculated and shown at checkout.

Cancelling

You can cancel from the billing page at any time. Cancelling keeps Family until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account moves to Free after that. We do not refund the unused part of a term, whether you cancel in the first month of a year or the last. This does not affect refund rights you have under the law where you live.

If a Payment Fails

A failed payment does not end your plan on the spot. Stripe retries over several days and Family keeps working while it does, so a card that has expired is a thing to fix rather than an outage. If the payments ultimately do not go through, the account moves to Free.

What Free Limits Mean

Free covers one athlete, one parent, and the current week of training. An account over those limits is restricted, never erased: an extra athlete becomes read-only and older sessions are hidden. Every score, streak, badge and personal best stays exactly where it is, and moving to Family makes all of it available again immediately. We do not delete training data because a plan changed.

Price Changes

We may change what the plans cost. If a price changes for a plan you are already on, we will tell you before it takes effect, and it will not apply until your next renewal. You can cancel before then.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the service or its security.
• Submit false training data to manipulate streaks, badges, or rankings.

Health & Safety Disclaimer

GrindSZN provides guided training content for general fitness and motivation. It is not medical advice. Training carries inherent physical risk. Consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise program, and stop if you experience pain or discomfort. You use the app at your own risk.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the training data you record. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display that data so the app can function for you.

Service Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the app. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
